Zaurus - pdaXrom / Compiling Problems

I've recently upgraded to RC8, all packages updated as well.  And now, I am having problems compiling.  It seems that when the zgcc img is mounted GCC works, but make is dead and vice versa when it's not mounted.  This makes compiling any programs totally impossible, am I missing something?

EDIT: I was using the RC5 image, woops!

However, I am having problems with epic and screen.  Has anyone else tried to compile these?  If not, I will get the errors and post them.

I didn't see any topics, so I figured I would ask.  Is GCC working now, or do I still need to mount the zgcc image?  With the increased root size, this won't be as troublesome, but a properly functioning compiler would be nice.

One other thing, I've started compiling epic and pico for myself, if anyone else is interested I will look into making ipks of them.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / New 860 Owner

First of all, I'm looking to get a screen protector, reccomendations?  Do any of you use 3rd party styli?  Also, I bought my 860 with an extended battery, is there a "normal" sized one?

Finally, when will gcc be ready for the zaurus?  There are a few applications I find myself missing sorely (like pico and epic, for when I don't want to run X).

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Socket Card Stuck In Suspended Mode

Hi, I just got a C860, and having already known about the pdaXrom project it didn't take a whole lot of thinking to decide on that.  However, I am having problems with my Socket WLAN card (1.00 rev. A).  I was going to do the fix suggested in the FAQ, but that entry is already in hermes.conf.  When I insert the card, the status light blinks, the applet shows it is inserted and then it doesn't blink anymore.

When I do cardctl status, the card shows as suspended.  cardctl resume 0 yields one more blink, but it instantly suspends again.  This is a fresh install, and I would really like to be able to use pdaXrom and my wireless card.
