Software / Zaurus Web Browsers

I have opera, netfront and konq installed under sash rom 1.65 (or 1.70).
I notice that opera seems to mangle the names of ipks so they don\'t
load right (if you tap-hold-save) ... netfront loads\'m right to the installer,
if you don\'t save first.

I prefer fullscreen in opera most of the time.

tonight I\'ll be downloading all the files from the community site, and will then slowly add them to our downloads section (including the tkc roms)

Is there any way to just grab all the files in one shot?
They seem to be all over the place.

Also, where does one get the (latest) kernel source for the
different models? c7x0 ...

I\'m not having much luck with gadgets in my old age.
I\'ve managed to destroy a blueberry (black berry phone, the ones that are blue).
I cracked the screen of my blackberry before that, but that\'s just too easy --
not that I was *trying* ...

I ditto that with the personal feeds.
I personally wget -r every feed I find.  I don\'t set up a mirror to keep up to date,
I just want to make sure nothing blinks away.

on the left is sharp/cacko/OZ(?) ... on the right is zdebian.

both running at the same time (ya, 64mb ram)...  you can run
a tinyx or something under qtopia -- not sure if you can go
the other way or would want to... but, I guess if there\'s an
X11 (only?) rom, then it would seem to cut out all those
qtopia apps.

I would run the X11 rom only to see what it had to offer.
It seems to me that there is enough going on with qtopia
that it wouldn\'t be worthwhile to lose the ability to run qtopia
apps.

If the X11 roms also (somehow) allows for qtopia stuff to be
run, then I\'d probably prefer this.

qtopia (opie?) just doesn\'t do it for me.  maybe I just don\'t
know the benefits behinds the scenes yet.

ya, I dont mean to laugh... but... that\'s pretty funny!

I\'d suggest leaving the device in direct sunlight -- not so much as to cook the device, but
so much as to either cook the mites, or heat up the device so that the mites die or want to leave.

The device should probably be off.. the battery should probably be out...

You know, I\'m not an official representative of Sharp, etc... perhaps these devices have
something in them that makes then explode or melt if they\'re in direct sunlight for more
than 3 seconds -- and most electronic usage guidelines state to keep things out of
direct sunlight .... but at the same time, it might be plausible.

as far as mites only lving for 3 weeks -- well, perhaps 1 generation... but what about their
great great great grand-offspring?  

I had a 10\' python once... no, really.  It had mites once or twice.  Where did they come from?
who knows... where did they go?  unknown.  They would live under the scales of the snake.
There was a time when the snake spent 2 weeks in water, the mites still survived.  Luckily the
snake molts and a combination of things got rid of the mites.

Oh, and I\'ve seen cockroaches living in keyboards... yum yum.. no my keyboard -- but have
you checked yours lately?

I called Sharp USA today and they will send me a Stylus for 11 Dolls.    

Does somebody now a place in Manhattan where they sell Zauruses and Accessories? :?:

hey --- I\'m in Manhattan as well... if you of any resources or can find any, just drop me a note
and I\'ll update some pages with references.   I\'m not much into gadgets, so I\'m not familiar with all the outlets such as J&R, etc.

I still prefer the atari portfolio in terminator...

I have a C760 and a lexar 512MB SD card.  I\'ve also used the same card in a c700.

Ive have played doom on the c7x0, but I have not finished it.  I thought I saw a post recently where someone said that he had finished it on the zaurus.
