anyone wanna post a "unmodified version" of cacko's hddmount script? mine seems to be barfing around "hdd1" area.

basically the boots msg's say its mounted, but goto term and mount, and its not mounted, way....wierd.

well tried to compile 'aspell', it compiled but had an error about not knowing what to do with make "all" in the po directory, but however it did install the libraries(8mb) ouch and the binary. But cant seem to get the dictionary installed. anyone else wanna give this a whirl? Also where can I find more details about compiling on the z? Any and all info is appreciated. Also I would like to get man pages installed for my z any ideas where to start?

seems to be missing bluetooth includes and a few "other" things, how would one "add to this" or can Maslovsky please update it, I finally got it working, there is a little hiccup in the script where it wants to link all the files under /mnt/dev-img to ~/develop, so I commented out the code for that and manually did it.( I was able to compile Meanies Sample Code, with the exception of the rtl module, dev-img is missing some things)

side-thought:
also it seems that Meanies image is more "up-to-date", I wonder if I can use it in dev-img's place...any ideas?

anyone got this to actually work? keep getting libopcodes, cannot load shared object..blah blah, but its symlinked in /opt/QtPalmtop/lib. So any ideas?

what scripts are called to "unmount" the hdd's and cards? I need to cleanly unmount my loop devices. Does /etc/fstab get called before a reboot to unmount what is in there?

ok, found that my python image was NOT mounted but python works none-the-less, does cacko have python installed already? there seems to be 30+mb of files in the directory(again without the image mounted) so what the hek is going on? Oh I tested the python enviro by running some simple lines of code.

just a quick question, what modules are installed in the image? How can one "add" new modules? if any. What are the most popular, etc...? I was going todo perl, but I will stick with python first, I like the idea of a nice gui.

hey anyone know where there could be a repository for databases, like using MySql databases as a reference tool, electronics programming etc... also hows about "exporting" the dattabase for the wiki or/and the forums for download, that way I can have the reference in hand?

I found a sweet tool for viewing databases and performing query's totlly customizable. called dadabik written in php of course. So how about it DZ/offroadgeek, hows about haveing the database open for download?
