Trolltech To Extend Dual-license To Qt/windows
« on: February 07, 2005, 05:33:58 pm »
Trolltech to Extend Dual-License to Qt/Windows under GPL which so far only existed for the X11 license.

Thats a good news to see that Trolltech is embracing the Open source paradigm while also extending its base to more devices. -pda's and phones.

I saw this noted on slashdot ...

now people on c++ can't "bash" qt anymore.

I heard an explanation of why win was and then wasn't (???) dual licensed...

I wonder what made Trolltech change its mind.
