A Newbie Problem For Pdaxrom

The process of flashing is smooth for me, but after startx, i just can see a clock at the corner and nothing else, am i missing some procedure of it?  Please advise.

Did you resize and what Zaurus are you using etc. Any output at terminal if you presse ctrl+alt+backspace to return to term?

I can't resize....I just see the clock and nothing, no menu bar and no background...
didn't try ctrl+alt+backspace.
