Well it flashes on my 5500 and boots, No networking with my MA701, I'm going to try to re-flash OZ and copy the kernel modules it uses in the hopes that that will make things work.

Thats all the functionality I got out of the last 5500 image posted with Topia 2.1.1

Don't hang your hopes too high though... it's still the barebone Qtopia we know from earlier releases

Well I ran into a problem trying to get back to OZ from this rom, After flashing OZ on power-up I got numerous jffs errors about needing to format that scrolled faster than I could read, I finally out of desperation tried a 3.13 Ospack and my Zaurus atleast boots again.

I'm not sure if I'm going to try my earlier plan of copying OZ kernel modules and re-flashing again if there is a chance of this happening.

Has anyone else had this problem? I dont really want to try this if I cant get back to my beloved OZ 3.5.2 Hentges ROM

I've successfully flashed this ROM and flashed back to the Sharp ROM on my 5000D.
I was looking forward to pdaXrom on the 5000D but this is not X, just Qtopia (?) and is very barebones. Couldn't get it online to add packages. Tried both ethernet and wifi, but not very hard, I admit. I thought Mickey's comment was "sour grapes" but I see what he means.

I still cant get back to OpenZaurus, When I re-flashed again earlier today from the sharp rom to OZ I had the same jffs2 problems.

I think I'll try a GPE image instead of a OPIE image, Maybe I have a corrupt image or something wierd is going on.
