irda with nokia 8310

Someone knows if zaurus and nokia 8310 work with IRDA?

Yes. I had this working with Sharp ROM 2.38 and with OZ3.2. I\'ve not tried with OZ3.3.6pre1, but I can\'t see why it shouldn\'t work. I\'m not sure about 3.10, but I have a feeling that it did work.

P.S. I\'m talking about using the phone as a modem. I\'ve not tried gnokii, etc.

i managed to not only sync birthdays, contactc, etc through my s56 siemens, and also log onto the internet throught the irda, i also send midi files, pictures, etc.

My siemens has bluetooth, irda.  If this is the case, then there should be no reason why nokia won\'t work.  im using rom 3.13

Did a quick test with stock rom for dial up, looked ok.
