thanks. did you try compiling those into a kernel based on guylhem's source? That was always a problem on the last version..

if i select in menuconfig hid to compile in, it disables the subsection, and later does not compile it
however, i dont see any reason to compile into the kernel usb drivers, and particulary hid devices drivers

It seems, that A/Fn hack affected something My 'A' key on ext. keyboard acts as Fn on internal
