Rotating the screen

Hi all

Is there a way to rotate the display with the X11 ROM? I reflashed to this ROM with the Sukoshi kernel (which I\'m not convinced has speeded things up, but that\'s another matter). Adter doing so my display is in portrait mode, when I want it in landscape mode. Any ideas?

Thanks
gr.

Enki wrote in a former post:
\"The key to rotation in x is the /usr/X11R6/bin/xrandr command ...

$ xrandr -o left
the above command will rotate the screen into \"portrait\" mode, ie default for 5500 serioes

$ xrandr -o normal
this one will put it back in \"landscape\" mode, ie default for 7x0 series\"

Good luck!

Thanks Peter. There\'s definitely something weird going on.. I had to use \"-o right\" to get back to the proper original landscape mode - but then my window manager is messed up, and whenever I restart it goes back to portrait mode.

Probably best to just flash with a Sash or Javab0y kernel.
