I've had a bricked sl-5500 lying around for a year or so now, with various attempts and no success at resurrection. I've decided to put it up for sale (or basically give it away) for anyone who needs some parts.
Here's what I've got:
- dead zaurus sl-5500. usual wear on the case, screen is in excellent condition with no scratches. the screen worked perfectly last time the thing would turn on, including the touch sensitive part. The battery has no voltage now, but used to work. when you plug the unit in, there's no charge light, flashing doesn't work, etc. The internal battery is still good, I've got it opened up already. It worked perfectly up until one day, when it just didn't work (possibly from non use?). ($30?)
- zaurus USB cradle - works fine, nothing wrong with it. ($10?)
- AC wall charger - works fine. ($5?)
- Linksys WCF12 802.11b wifi card (SOLD)
- 32mb canon compact flash card ($10?)
- Cross brand combination pen/stylus ($2?)
- zaurus EA-BL06 battery for sl-5500 ($20?)
I'm from the Dallas, TX area, but I'll ship anywhere in the 48 states. You'll have to pay for shipping.
I prefer paypal, but we can work out other methods if anyone's interested. And of course, the prices are just suggestions, I'm open for negotiating, with large discounts if you buy more than one thing. I'm really just trying to get rid of this thing, and rather than throwing it out I thought I might be able to help someone out.
All these can be sold individually, or all at once, like I said I'm really just trying to help other people out, so I'm very flexible. If needed, I might even be able to find the manual and software CDs.

UPDATE: The WiFi card and the AC adapter have been sold, but I still have another 3rd party AC adapter that works with the Z. Thanks for your interest!
