EDIT: I sovled the problem by moving /home/root/.matchbox away (mv .matchbox/ .matchboxOLD), and then X started with default settings.
760, RC11 - I was playing with the settings for the display in X (background image), and when I closed it with OK, X dumped out to the console.
Now "startx" will not work. Console seems to function fine, but when I run startx X seems to starts up, I get the black and white "dogbone" background with the X pointer, and then it goes back to the console.

Any ideas? I'm sure it is something simple, like a broken config file or something, but I can't figure it out. I hate to reflash.
Thanks.
