What is gEDA?
The gEDA project is working on producing a full GPL'd suite of Electronic Design Automation tools. These tools are used for electrical circuit design, schematic capture, simulation, prototyping, and production. Currently, the gEDA project offers a mature suite of free software applications for electronics design, including schematic capture, attribute management, bill of materials (BOM) generation, netlisting into over 20 netlist formats, analog and digital simulation, and printed circuit board (PCB) layout.
This package is looking very good right now. I fixed one little bug that was causing make to throw an error, and it's on its way to a full compile!
Most of us probably will never use this for anything, but it is a very useful tool for circuit simulation and other tasks related to designing and building electronics hardware. I hope someone can find it useful (and not too hard to use on Z).
get it later at the usual place

DISCLAIMER: I thought I should mention this since it just occured to me. I am not associated with the pdaXrom team even though I think they are a really great bunch. I used the name pdaXfeed because it sounded cool and was descriptive of what I was offering. That being said, I hope to continue posting new stuff here regularly in support of this great distro.
