Usb Resetting On 2.6.13

My problem is, that each time I try to update the packages or want to install a new package the connection to the gatway (Gentoo with 2.6.13) got lost.

A 'watch -n1 ifconfig usb0' does lose connect to usb0 after some while and then it's back again.
dmesg gives this:
