Anyone Used Zgps With A Compactflash Gps?
« on: October 17, 2005, 07:43:24 am »
Has anyone used zgps from travellingkiwi.com with a CompactFlash GPs unit and if so what make/model GPS?

Travelling Kiwi can recommend only a Pretec card from his own experience. Are there likely to be problems with other units?

I'm contemplating buying a C3100 for two main reasons. Viewing camera images, which I've mainly sorted out now, and GPS which is why I'm asking this.

I also have some Linux navigation software, with voice prompts, that runs on my laptop (a bit cumbersome in the car) and the company that produce it say they _may_  produce a Zaurus version after Christmas.

Meanwhile I could use the C3100 as a standard GPS using zgps or possibly GPSDrive for in car use.
