Running Movies On Sl-5500
« Reply #15 on: November 06, 2005, 12:11:30 pm »
I use TkCVideo, from TheKompany, came with my SL-5500 from the past owner. Works great, I've seen movies (250MB) from the CF on Divx format or Avi Format. No problem. The only thing missing for me is the "bookmark" feature, and that if I pause and re-start, I de-syncronize sound.

Hope this helps

Does anyone have a good movie player that I could run movies off a CF card on the SL-5500?
If so, how do I need to install and run properly?

I've tried opieplayer and kino2, but they haven't ever run correctly.  They both crashed.
I've heard of mplayer running, but I understand you have to run with Qtopia shutdown.  Is this a viable option?  How do I shut Qtopia down?

Pardon my noobiness, but am learning my SL-5500 as I go.

Thanks
