Jumping From Words In Zdict
« on: November 11, 2005, 10:47:14 pm »
Hello.  My c3100 finally got here today, and I'm having trouble understanding how to use the "jump" functions in Zdict....

Is there a way to go back to the where you were before you looked up a new word?  For example:  let's say I'm looking at a dictionary entry for a word, and in that entry, there is another word I don't know.  I then highlight that word, and click "search" and look at the definition for that word.  Then, I understand that word, and want to go back to the original word.  How can I do that?  I've used a Seiko Dictionary before this PDA, and it was very easy to do that.  From the hour that I've been playing around with this, I cannot figure out how to go back.  JDict only seems to enable the "back arrow" in some very special cases.

Also, if it is not possible to jump forward and backward in JDict, is there some other sort of software that I can use instead of Jdict?  (It needs to support using the built in dictionary file, though.)

Thank you for your help!
(I'm sorry I keep asking too many questions.)
joe

If nothing else, is there a way I can run two copies of JDict?  This way I can use one instance for looking up the main word, and the second instance for looking up other words I don't know?
