Has the product quality of the 01+ model improved over the 01 model? They had many quality issues and shipped faulty units that had to be replaced. I am a bit weary about buying american products due to their consistent low manufacturing quality. I have a friend who bought a laptop from the US and had it replaced 5 times already. Although the warranty is good and they do replace the faulty parts, it is a big hassle to constantly having to send the unit back to the US and waiting for it to be replaced/repaired. Can't afford that for a business critical device such as a laptop or OQO.

Maybe I should stop using expansys and order from oqo directly...
I think the biggest problem with OQO beside their ridiculous price is their inability to supply the units in a timely manner. Their distribution system is almost non existant and they appear to be out of stock all the time. Also, they are illegally forcing you to purchase windows xp with their unit but maybe it is legal where they are based (california).
