Invisible Microdrive?
« on: February 05, 2006, 07:18:35 am »
My C3100 arrived a few days ago and after installed Cacko 1.23 I formated my 4Gb IBM Microdrive to ext2, and then  Z can't recognize it, Z recognize that there is a CF card connected but no as a massive storage device or a HDD. I have tried to format the microdrive to fat32 (like when Z coult recognize it) but nothing chages, Z doesn't recognize it...

Anyone knows what is happening? what I could do?

(srry for my bad english)

My microdrive was perfectly visible to the Z and to my PC, then a week later I could only see the uppermost folders on the PC, no files, whilst it still worked just perfectly on the Z.
I reformatted it on the PC and all is fine again. Maybe you could try reformatting on the device you are having difficulty with?

I cant try reformatting on the device because It doesn't "see" that there is a microdrive
