What I am really requesting here is a jamvm-compatible version of the serial library
RXTX for pdaXrom. So, anyone willing to compile a package?
The reason I would like it is so I could send Garmin maps to my GPS receiver while away from home. The only tool I was able to find was
GPSExplorer, a Java-based application requiring commlib. If anyone could find a different application for this task (preferably with compiled or easily compilable dependencies), I would be equally glad to have that.
