app keys and libSDL 1.2.6?

According to the documentation I can find at zaurus.com, the application keys and home are supposed to generate F9-F13.
On my 5600, I see \"contacts\" generating F10, and \"home\" generating F12. The others don\'t seem to generate anything.

Is this a known a bug in libSDL (1.2.6), or is it likely a problem of my own somehow? Do these keys work as expected for everyone else?

i have the exact same problem, not sure exactly how to go about correcting this myself, other than finding a (newer) SDL ipk.

Does anyone care about working buttons on the 5600?

I have the same problem with my 5600.  It must be a bug in SDL.  I\'m sure something like this is cannot go \'unkown\', but since the last release of SDL was in December of 2002 I don\'t think anybody is in a hurry to squash the bug.

It is not an unfixable bug.  These buttons are mappable.  Take a look at the GameboyZ emulator.  Once you load your rom press the \'c\' button to view the system key codes.  This will show you a key code for every button you press.

The mail button gives a response of 294, which is F13 according to the SDL source.  When trying to map a button to F13 it does not work though.  If you use snes9x and try to bind 294 to a button it doesn\'t work either.  The menu button gives a response of 292, F11.  This button actually works in the GameboyZ emulator (as the reset button) but cannot seemed to be mapped using any other SDL programs.

This is all useless info to you and me, but maybe a developer will stumble across this thread and have the heart to figure something out for us poor neglected 5600 users
