Tetsu 16c 6000 Pocketworkstation Vnc
« on: July 07, 2006, 03:15:36 am »
This is probably a simple thing:
I installed sharprom on my 6000
followed that by installing tetsu's special kernel and modules (for the 6000)
I then untarred pocketworkstation to my sd, and ran INSTALL.d/postinst.sh, as per instructions.

Pocket workstation runs...except for aterm.  When the Vncserver is started it spits out errors about being unable to open psuedo-tty, then sayas aterm aborting.
if Fbvnc is run, all the X gui stuff looks and runs (at least ace of penguins and some other stuff) fine. Aterm pops up, then closes.

Do i need to run PW on another VT or something?  if so, how do I do it? if not, what do you recommend? (besides using only xqt--ideally I'd like to have both options working)

thanks in advance, ADF.

Fix-- it was pernissions on debroot. d'oh.
