hio guys.i am back again but this timenot something related to zaurus but to an ipaq.actually my brother needs a pocket pc and he is no what of linux geek and he dont want zaurus he wants something else wwich runs windows.so i stumbled up hp ipaq 5555.i myself got a zaurus 5600 a while back and i showed it to him but he dont want linux.anyways what do u think abt this model hp ipaq 5555. i think its good also some complications tht the pc card means the normal pcmcia card tht goes into laptop right coz the specs for the ipaq says

what is the sdio i never heard abt it for zaurus.guys help me out of this.also if u think there is some other model other then this do let me know and what is good abt it..thnx for ur help.
basically he needs it for some school stuff,wardriving, connecting to the network and thts it.i showed it to him and he wants to go for it.but it told him to wait as you guys might come up with something.also can u tell me some usergroup for ipaq like zaurus user group fo zaurus.

wtf no Built in Slot for CF card like in zaurus..probably have to look at something else now..

yeah, no built in CF card. (you have to buy the expansion pack, which iPaqs are known for.. )

This is pretty high end PPC. you have built in wifi, bluetooth AND a biometric (fingerprint) security..

PDA buyers guide has a review.. (this site is great for reviews.. Lisa does a great job! )

I have the iPAQ 4155. Small for the shirt pocket, very fast performance, built-in WIFI and BT. It will detect any available network and prompt you to connect with the network app. It can open remote files over a network share.

What school stuff in particular? Taking notes? I have a full screen keyboard installed for input to Pocket Word and Pocket Excel. The PIM syncs only to Windows.

thanks for ur replies guys i told him n he is going for it no matterr he has to add the selve or not.n the first guest thnx for the link excellent website.i showed it to him he read the review for some time n then he said i am getting it.ok everyone thnx for ur help.
