Pdaxrom And Mplayer
« on: November 25, 2006, 11:57:49 am »
Hi all, I've just recently flashed my c1000 with pdaxrom, and i really like it.

I'm trying to watch some avi videos on it, and mplayer will show the video ok, but claims that there's no sound, as some codecs are missing, and that they should be enabled at compilation. The audio is encoded as ac3.

Is there another version of ffmpeg or mplayer with these codecs?

thanks,

Meanie

By the way, maybe it is worth contributing some of the MPlayer zaurus patches upstream?

Also if you have a good solution for AC3 audio, I would like to have a look at this patch and apply it to Nokia 770 build of MPlayer as well

currently taking part in porting MPlayer to Nokia 770 and Nokia N800, feel free to join :)
