File Too Short/small
« on: December 26, 2006, 10:57:50 am »
I am running beta3 and am having problems with a number of apps. When I try to run gpe-contacts gpe-calendar, it tells me libgpewidgets is too short, I had similar problems with other programs always telling me that some file (maybe a symlink) was too short. If I do an 'ldconfig' it tells me that EVERY file "is too small, not checked." I did a standard install of beta3. I partitioned root to 121M. I did the fix for root >64M. I had previously installed pdaXii13 with MD partitions of 2.6G ext2 hda1, 256M swap hda2, and the rest (2+G) win 95 c. I think the pdaXii13 stuff is still on hda1/ide. What did I do wrong and what can I do to fix it? Thanks.

Well, once again I am talking to myself.... This problem seemed to be related to problems between beta3 and the remnants of pdaXii13. I repartitioned my MD and then reflashed beta3. That took care of the problems w/ ldconfig, file too short/small, etc. I am still anxiously awaiting a working pdaXii13 for the 3200. Looks like Meanie and psycoman are continuing their efforts.
