My understanding is that it is temporary, while our admins are waiting on ibiblio to fix something there.
That is a good idea if someone has the ability to do so. I don't believe "forum" is permanent from what's been said in other threads. And there are so many, many links from elsewhere that lead to posts at the "forums". Sure will mess up the search engines. I hope they'll be able to symlink between the two so either will work, but that also could present other problems, I suppose. Look in the "Forum News" thread.
