How To Encode For The Media Player ?
« on: May 29, 2009, 06:22:46 am »
Hi

All is in the title. Since there is a mediaplayer in the sharp OS, i want to try it out. I assume it's optimized. But i don't know how to encode for example a video from Youtube. The avi i created with WinFF didn't play at all. Wmv, anf flv are not accepted formats.

Thanks, L

Have you tried the mencoder settings in the wiki e.g https://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Mencoder_Encoding or this script https://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Encodi...Zaurus_Playback ?

Also for the sharp rom / cacko there is the tweaked mplayer and kino2 frontend at http://my-zaurus.narod.ru/kino.html

Hope this helps
