I have put online a mirror of the old Crow's page from archive.org, together with the two 5000D/5500 archives:

Unfortunately the cackorom-Applications.zip file seems to be not available on the net anymore, has anyone a copy of it?

Sort of....

I found a bunch of SD and CF cards and DVD-ROM from way back and found all sorts of gems (mainly for the C1000, C3200 and a bit of C3100).  One of the ipks I found for the 5x00 was an ipk for Opera 7.30.   I also have the C series updater for for that version and hires buttons file for the C series as well.  I'll try to move the 5x00 ipk onto an internet based machine and attach it to this thread.

Thanks for your help! That ipk is indeed helpful, though I wonder what other packages were included in that archive, apart from Opera. Please attach the ipk you found to your reply, I'll put the file on the page.

Sorry for the delay.  I haven't been feeling well.

This dvdrom has an IBM-Opera folder.  The other files are buttons.zip, buttons28.zip, opera_arm.ipk, multimodal_arm.ipk, opera-cseries-fix-7.30-arm.ipk, opera_arm_7.55_build_6079.ipk and operac3k_7.55.6079-c3k-2_arm.ipk
