japan-direct.com $699 c680 - What about 1 yr warranty?

I\'m considering the purchase of a C680 from www.japan-direct.com $699 US. This site\'s price is in the same ballpark as Amazon Japan. There are many happy customer letters posted to their site speaking to the company\'s greatness with regard to orders and delivery. However, there is a dearth of comments on their reliability when it comes to acting as agent to service the 1 year domestic warranty.

Does anyone have experience with warranty service for products purchased at www.japan-direct.com?

Is anybody particularly happy or displeased with their interaction with this company?

I am also considering getting a C860 from JD. It will be my first time ordering something from them - I am a tad nervous sending my money over there - who knows if the unit will ever be shipped?

I guess if you pay by Credit Card, if nothing arives, the transaction can be reversed? Anybody have any experience in this regard?

I orderd a c860 from them 3 weeks ago

the unit arrived 1 week later and is working fine.

they dont localise the zaurus though and the supplied instructions are incorrect in some places but if you are flashing the rom anyway......

cant say anything about the warranty since the unit is still working

I ordered my C750 a while back, it arrived without troubles (though it was sent in the standard mail so make sure you\'re about so it doesn\'t just get left on your doorstep).
