Brightness not working in linux

Even in lxqt settings menu Brightness is not working in linux.
Any help please. Thank you

If you do the things listed here:
https://github.com/gemian/gemini-keyboard-apps/wiki/DebianTP
then the Gemini's brightness keys -- Fn+b and Fn+n -- should change the brithnmess of the gadget's screen.

after removing  .config/lxqt/globalkeyshortcuts.conf ( login and logout ).
