On-Screen Keyboard?
« on: June 02, 2004, 04:07:46 pm »
I tend to use my SL-C760 in portrait mode a lot, but sometimes I need to make a quick keyboard entry and love the on-screen keyboard in the sharp ROM (much easier that swiveling around to the keyboard). Is there something similar available for the pdaXrom?

Basically I\'m looking for a keyboard that can pop-up from an icon in the task bar and allow full keyboard emulation (ctrl, alt, etc, would be sticky and gray out when tapped to allow multi-key commands).

Sorry if I missed this info and am reposting, but I didn\'t find anything in my searches.
SL-C760, PNY 256SD, Viking 1G CF, Socket CF WiFi, Socket CF Bluetooth, Cacko ROM 1.23
Nokia 770, Sandisk 1GB RS-MMC

here, use the familiar package of xkbd. You may need to create an xkbd.desktop and then place an icon on the mb bar on the bottom.
