ssh / scp problems

Hi, I'm trying to transfer files to my zaurus. I have the tcp/ip driver for mac and can see and log into ssh on the zaurus. How do I transfer files? i tried -

scp -rp file root@192.168.129.201:/tmp

but i get a timeout error with this and a few other remote dir settings.

Any ideas?
