How do you rename helvetica fonts for use on Zauru
« on: August 14, 2004, 08:37:38 am »
Hi:

I'd like to install the mico-helvetica unicode fonts, but don't want to overwrite the default fonts with them.

So I tried just renaming the qpf files in the package and copying them into the /home/QtPalmtop/lib/fonts directory, but this doesn't work, they don't show up.

I guess it's not enough just to change the filename.

What else should I do?

Later.

Did u restart Qtopia after renaming files?(just asking if you missed it).

I did the same thing by replacing the 10-size helvatica fonts with tahoma 11-size fonts. I rebooted, now my Zaurus shows everything in tahoma.
