hi, i've got a problem using the mobile as a modem via IRDA. location is germany, europe.
i try to connect to the internet from c860 using GSM CSD. tried with several providers. the settings and the phones work fine with a winslow2000 laptop.
trivial thing you might say....
- the alcatel 715 interrupts the IR beam during the handshake. the beam does not time out it gets interrupted on purpose. WHY??
- the nokia 6210 does exactly the same. WHY??
siemens sl45 works slow but fine!!
so i assume it's not a general failure of the c860 or the mobile.
who can provide a solution or just an idea WHY or does someone know AT commands to overcome this annoying issue?
