You will find it here:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...ckage_id=122438

To make it accessible,

copy it into kdepim/apps/kaddressbook/csv-templates
and then restart Ka/Pi

Hi Ulf,

SORRY vergot to write in english *g* ... downloaded template file inside the zip is called outlook2000.desktop (why this endling?) ... trying to put it in csv-templates directory ... but there where 2 pathes kdepim/apps/kaddressbook in /usr/lib/qt/... and ~/...

WHat to do now? Any ideas?

Anybody got the new version kpim 1.99 from sf.net compiled for rc5?

Gruss
Martin

Hi @ulf :-)

found the the problem ...  miss spelling directory its called csv-templates not ~/kdepim/apps/kaddressbook/cvs-templates ... *g*

PROBLEM with notes field from imported outlook csv file ... it is possoble to have linebreaks inside this datafield ... at the first of this linebreak it generates a new datarecord ... every following data is the wrong imported :-( ... trying to get rid of this dammed linebreaks with a hex/texteditor ...

Hope to get new Kpim 1.99 as soon

Hi Martin,

the problem with the linebreaks will not be solved with 1.9.9. So no changes there.

Did you try adding quotes around the notes field before importing ? Just a guess

Hi ,

Yes it is ... outlook export csv files have all fields quoted ... may be it a linefeed , carrriage return problem ... ? What about the differences between Windows / Unix-Linux Textfiles with 0x0d, 0x0a for new line ...

Searched inside buglists but nothing found ... I tryx to post there

Thanks
Martin
