Speaking about the LED notification thing. What options do you find really useful, i.e. not just gimmicks. I'm adding LED notification to Opie 1.1.7 and need to gather a list of possible notification sources.

So - what do we need?

Seek in the previous page for the post about Lirc for Qt . It does work, a bit hard to set up but work very nice after . Cons: Poor range, REALLY poor (50cm-1 M)

Thanks for the reminder.
The range issue has to do with the IR module in the Z, though, not the software.
