« on: April 25, 2005, 01:25:23 pm »
Hi all.
Does anyone here have any information regarding an 802.1X client for the Zaurus?
I'm getting frustrated .
Funk's Odyssey - NO
Open1X - NO (or some instruction please)
Aegis - NO
http://www.katastrophos.net/zaurus/package..._0.15-1_arm.ipk - NO (ipk doesn't work, i don't know what to do, someone tried?-some instructions please?)

Please give me some help with it .

Cacko has the WPA supplicant (command line tool) in it, which might be sufficient to get you up and running, although not, obviously, 802.1X
Gemini 4G/Wi-Fi owner, formerly zaurus C3100 and 860 owner; also owner of an HTC Doubleshot, a Zaurus-like phone.

I have been thinking about this with my Zaurus as well. Could you go into a bit more detail on Aegis? I was thinking the Meetinghouse product would have worked. What are you using on the server side? I have a Linksys router I was planning on enabling WPA (and initially set up static authentication for the 802.1x, and eventually a radius server).

Tell us more, please,
