Ogg123 Problems
« on: June 08, 2005, 01:25:29 am »
I have a cf card with a test ogg file on it.  It plays just fine when I play it using ogg123 on my FC3 system.  However, when I try to play that same file from my SL-5000 using the same CF card, the music is jerky.  The best way I can describe it is it seems like the output might be interrupted briefly every time a line prints to standard error.  (I doubt that that is the case; but, it's the best way I can think of to describe what I hear.)  I have tried various buffer settings, etc. and the problem just seems to persist.  I have done quite a bit of googling to see if anyone else has had a similar experience; but,  most everything out there in Google Land just seems to praise how well ogg works.  So, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of anything that I might try to cure this problem.  Thanks for any input.
