I have the tkcJabber applet on my z, its disabled, but I want to remove it, how do I do that? Its not in the "uninstall list"

Are you referring to the program itself or to the icon that appears on the screen? If you've already removed the application, the icon can be removed by installing "Tab Manager" and then using it's delete function.

nope, if you get a program called applet manager, it appears in the list, so I am thinking its a reminant in a nfo/text/whatever file somewhere, I searched for it, and couldnt find it.

Have a look in /home/QtPalmtop/plugins/applets

This folder lists all of your installed applets, if tkcJabber isn't there then it isn't installed.

I have a vague memory from when I had applet managet installed on my C760 that there were a bunch of pre-configured applet names that showed up even if they weren't installed. Can't rmember if tkcJabber was one of them.

Have you ever installed tkcJabber?

Then it's most probably that applet manager has it included in a hardcoded list. You'll probably find 2 or 3 others that aint installed but are on the list.

The only way around that would be to recompile applet manager after "fixing" the list
