Keyhelper Xml
« on: July 18, 2005, 02:12:02 am »
when I type khctl reload I get this...
qt/embedded data directory is not owned by user 0

how do I correct that?

Its a minor annoyance but I would like to modify my xml file without having to soft reboot.

You need to run khctl as user zaurus or as root after doing
Code: [Select]
su -note the "-", if you don't use it you will get the above error everytime.

Easiest is to run it as normal user (zaurus)

I actually have a shortcut menu option (via keyhelper) that reloads the xml file for when I'm testing stuff - have others for opening the config files in an editor too
