« on: June 17, 2005, 04:10:01 am »
Hi, am looking to buy an SD card for my C1000.

Am looking at a corsair 1GB 40x SD card from Dabs, any better/cheaper suggestions?

Hi

Thats what I have, not a single problem with it, use it for all my application storage and put movies, mp3s, ipkgs and any non-essential changing media etc on CF card.

That way I have never removed SD card since I inserted it, and treat it like a HDD.
The CF card gets swapped in and out with WiFi card etc on regular basis.

Awesome Melee,

Do you ever install other ROMs onto it?

Sorry - lost the thread (or was it the plot!)

I have stuck with the Sharp ROM thus far, its stable and I have changed things around to suit me.

More inertia than choice!

Every SD card (under any/ever Zaurus ROM) has failed for me, in time....
even with extremely light use.  It is extremely frustrating.

I have just bought an A-Data 1gb 50X sd.

At first it wasn’t recognised by my C1000 but a reboot brought it to life.

Nice and cheap too, £27 + postage on eBay.
