That's because both Cacko and pdaXrom use battery calibration patch from tetsu's page.

I couldn't stay without cursor:

1) you need it to see the tool you're using in drawing tools
2) you have information about loading
3) you have precision on release events (you click, move to the very correct place, and release)
4) you can use it to control popups without clicking (by clicking outside the object - example: systray - dragging on it and releasing).

Since generally pc software is written for cursor-showing system,
since porting is generally faster than re-engeneering,
since pdaXrom sense is the possibility to use desktop-linux software,

..I think we should not think about removing the cursor. maybe a cursor theme with translucent, or empty-edge cursor would be better than unclutter, too.

OTHERWISE....
we could think about a different approach. We could think about leaving the cursor image stuck in a corner, away from the real cursor that would follow screen-touching. Or about an unclutter version that hide the cursor by moving the cursor image to a corner after touchscreen events. Anyway, these are not priority task, according to me.

unclutter shows the pointer when it is moving, so none of those concerns are an issue
