Flash/shockwave Plugins On Firefox
« on: November 29, 2005, 05:22:19 pm »
Hi all, I'm hoping to get myself a Zaurus SL C3100 sometime within the next few months, and I was considering using either X/qt or pdaXrom as I really like the idea of being able to run my favourite Internet browser (Firefox) anywhere I go.

This leads me onto my actual question. Can I install plugins such as Macromedia Flash or Shockwave?

Well, that's all from me for now. Goodnight all. Or should I be saying good morning?!

Actually, one more thing!!

Has anyone tried playing a game such as Runescape on their Z? As I really love MMORPGS!!

Ok, I'm actually gone now guys and girls. Bye
Hoping to buy...

Zaurus SL-C3100
D-Link DCF-660W

REALLY soon!!

is there a flash player for QT?

hey, the Amiga had an 8MHz 16/32 processor and less than a meg of RAM, and had some amazing games, so I am wondering whether we are trying too hard to get the same games performance as a 2GHz athlon64 with nvidia geforce4 card!

take a look at the Palm, some excellent games there.

or could it be that we, who don't even have to buy our operating system and media players, except to get our games for free too?

sorry, got a bit off track there.

So true about the Palm games speculatrix!! My friend has an old Sony Clié PEG-11 or something along those lines, and he was practically ready to throw it away until he loaned it to me and I loaded it with "Warfare Incorporated" (a Command and Conquer clone) and now he can't get enough of it!!

But if there aren't any good Zaurus games, I guess I'll be forced to make them! (I'm currently at University studying for a degree in Computer Games Design and Programming, still in my 1st semester though...  )

Ok, thanks for the replies guys. See ya around!

Yes, though I can't remember the name off the top of my head. It used this as the backend: http://www.swift-tools.com/Flash

I imagine someone could replace that with gplflash with some work.
