Backup To Sd From Sandisk
« on: December 12, 2005, 06:41:14 am »
Hi,

i have a brand new C3100 zaurus and it´s fantastic. Do to a backup with the intern "Backup/Restore" feature i bought "Sandisk Secure Digital SD EXTREME III 1 GB". Put it in the SD Slot the zaurus detects it immediately and i can save data on it. But when i want to do a Backup the Zaurus told me that he can 't find a SD card. When i put a different SD Card from Kingston the zaurus find the SD card. Obviously the Backup to SD works in generall.

Does anybody have a idea to fix this problem?

Thanks,
climber

Can't help much, but there are known compatibility problems with Sandisk SD cards and Zaurus. Do a search and you'll come across quite a few posts on this.

Myself I'm using Kingston 512 MB and Ridata 256MB cards with no problems.
The next card I buy (need 1GB soon) will definitely not be a Sandisk thats for sure.
