Long Pause In Pdaxii13 Loading
« on: June 16, 2007, 02:32:06 am »
I have a bit of a problem when loading pdaxii13, it pauses for about 5 minutes at:
EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
and another couple of minutes at:
start check battery!

What is happening?  I have run fsck from the service menu and repaired any errors but it doesn't seem to change this very long delay.  I believe it happened from the first install of pdaxii13.  The microdrive light goes on intermittently during the pause.

Anyone else having the same thing?

Check to make sure your battery switch is set to "locked"

Battery was locked with the problem occuring
but I think when I originally installed, I had it locked without a battery being in the slot (as I had just used the DM menu) or perhaps with my higher capacity battery.

I have reflashed (but with my pdaXii13 backup) and booted with the normal zaurus battery inserted and I get a different error:

corgi_bi : charge limit contrast 3
start check battery !
corgi_bi : unlimit contrast

Could it be that I have confused the battery check by using the higher capacity battery (a 2000mAh I bought).
The long pause is still evident.

Could I fix this problem by flashing in a different way?
