exporting file to address book
« on: October 09, 2003, 08:19:32 pm »
Hello fellow Zaurus users....

I just upgrade my Z to sharp ROM 3.1 and I would like to export the address book XML file from my old OS (openzaurus) and and I\'m not sure where to put it on sharp ROM. :?:

Or is there any other way on exporting different file type to Z? example pst file from outlook. I dont\' like using the sync option.

Thanks in advance.

Hello superman - unfortunately the sharp rom 3.10 (and all dirivatives) now use the dtm database for the pim apps, unlike the older sharp 2.x roms and OZ (which obviously use xml).

That said, I don\'t think it\'s possible to import the data, without using the sync method.

On a side note - if you like the sharp 3.10 rom at all, you should really try proto\'s tkcrom2.0alpha3.
