Xfree86 Or X.org?

Is there anything to choose between Xfree86 and X.org for a PDA (Zaurus C1000)? I like the look of the new modular build of X.org 7.0, but everyone seems to use Xfree86, and that can't be by chance....

It's probably more related to what was available when the screen and touchscreen drivers were available... hence most distro's use XFree86.
OpenBSD is using Xorg though
