Help! X Crashes After A Bit Of Look&feel Tuning

I was changing panel size, icon size etc, when X crashed. Now if I try startx, the server try to load, and after a few seconds of the usual gray matte with the X pointer it crashes


any hint?

I tryed to remove the Choices dir, and nothing changes (the folder is automatically rebuilt)

edit .xinitrc and try to remove the > /dev/null to see what crashes

I' d say it's matchbox panel that doesn' t like the icon sizes
