New Sd Driver In Pdaxrom Sd >1gb
« on: March 06, 2006, 07:24:52 pm »
These 2 threads in pdaxrom suggest a new SD driver that allows cards >1GB
I know this has been discussed before, but I just want the driver as a standalone upgrade.
https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=18057 (1.1.0beta2 For Cxxxx)
https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=17297 (Needsl-c7x0/860 Owner With Sd Mmc Cards Bigger 1g)

Is it possible to just get the driver and install it onto a C3100 with Cacko 1.23?
I'm not ready to flash to pdaxrom. There are links in the second thread to download,
but these links are for the 1.1.0beta2 of pdaxrom.

Thank you,
Jon

Thank you meanie. I think I'll wait on that one. I don't have a 2 or 4gb card yet.
What makes you think this driver will kill my 'Z'?

I haven't had time to test this package on a C3100 yet, only tested it on a C3000.

Hi meanie,

oops, did I miss something? Is that package indeed a SD card diver which supports SD cards >1GB on an SL-C3000 with kernel 2.4.20 (e.g. Cacko ROM)?

Any downsides (fs corruption on suspend, as discussed before, or similar things)?

Is it tested well enough to be usable for Very Important Data ™?

Thanks
