Testing Out The Rom.

im testing out the pdaxrom on the 3200 and it installed fine no problems.  I havent tried uninstalling it yet.

i have 4 problems with the rom at the moment which I just glanced at-
1.  feed......i keep getting errors.  whats the address?  i am pretty frustrated looking for a feed and used a few which i get errors.
2.  backlight shuts me out forcing me to do a comlete hard reset just to get this thing running every time i turn it off.
3.  wifi fails to eject after not working for a while.  After that, i loose complete cf use.
4.  6gb hardisk is not anywhere in sight.  Did a "ls /" and its not hdd3 is not anywhere in sight.  so far, i think my 6gb hd is in /mnt/ide3
My first impressions of this rom is it has not changed since I last tried it 8 months ago on the c1000.  Looking good though but for me, I'll wait to try the updated one thats coming out in a week?

The backlight bug is well known but I don't if there is a work around yet.

call me a noob, but i downloaded the ipk files and tried mannually installing them from my compact flash card and the package manager just freezes and all.  btw, i am using beta3

just download them all to your card and create a local feed on your card and install from that feed.

the website is undergoing some revamp work and links are changing so this will guarantee your packages are always found and no more delays for downloading dependend packages.

It was a headache restoring the sharprom.  Idiot me did not make a hdd backup nor a nand backup.
