Lost My Dot
« on: May 06, 2006, 08:41:37 pm »
I have no dot in my console when not in X, and also in some window managers, like kde.
This has been ongoing, but I messed around a lot in my setup in beta2.  Now it is happening again in beta3 having installed stuff only from the 3100 beta3 feed.

Any one know a fix?

This has been discussed before.  For me, it happened when I messed with the "input setup" settings.  Changing anything there hosed the keyboard setup.  I don't recall the specific files you need to change to get it back; look up the old discussion.  Of course, that was for beta1, but maybe it's the same bug.
